Progress To Date

  • 27 Lake Associations working together to steward 44 lakes  - and counting
  • 500 pounds/226 kilograms of toxic lead collected and safely recycled thereby preventing it from returning back into fishing tackle and the environment
  • Presented at Lake Associations AGM's, reaching local decision makers directly
  • Created videos, launched Facebook and TikTok campaigns and featured on radio, podcasts, news outlets, news magazines and newspapers
  • Recipient of the 2022 FOCA (Federation Of Cottagers Association) Award in recognition of our environmental leadership
  • Supported by Municipal, Provincial and Federal Politicians
  • Backed by a growing network of retailers, wildlife refuges, conservation organizations, scientists and concerned citizens

 It’s a preventable tragedy – and together, we can make positive change!
